HotelsNearVenues.com is an independent comparison site for one specific problem: you have tickets to a show or a game, and you need a bed you can reach on foot when it ends. We list hotels around US arenas, stadiums and concert halls, ranked on how far they actually are from the doors and what guests think of them.
We are not a booking platform. We do not hold your reservation, take your payment or set the price. Booking happens on our partners' sites.
Where the numbers come from
- Walking and driving times are routed, not straight-line. Every figure is computed over the real street network between the hotel's own coordinates and the venue. A hotel across a rail yard is a long walk even when it looks close on a map, and a distance measured as the crow flies would hide that. When a routed figure is missing, we show nothing rather than guess.
- The event calendar comes from the Ticketmaster Discovery API, matched to each venue by its Ticketmaster venue id rather than by a radius, so a search around Madison Square Garden does not return every theater in Midtown.
- The hotel inventory comes from Booking, collected through Apify. We keep hotels, motels, aparthotels, inns and guest houses, and drop apartments, holiday homes and private rentals: they are a different product with different rules on a show night.
- Hotel descriptions are rewritten by a language model from the facts in that listing, then validated. The model may only restate what the data holds; it is not allowed to invent an amenity, a distance or a neighborhood.
- Guest scores and review counts come from Booking and are shown exactly as collected. They are other people's reviews, so the count says so on the page and we never present them as our own ratings.
What we refuse to publish
A price, a surge percentage or an availability figure never appears unless it comes from a dated measurement we actually made. Where we have measured a venue and found that a show barely moves its market, we say that instead of implying otherwise. Empty beats invented: a missing detail on a page means we do not hold it, not that it does not exist.
How this site makes money
When you book through a link or the map on this site, we may earn a commission from our booking partners, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never affect which hotels appear, how they rank, or the numbers we report. Ranking is deterministic: guest score first among hotels with a meaningful review base, then distance to the venue.
